IPTC Writer sets new standards for image annotation

The IPTC Writer is an intuitive, multi-purpose tool for editing the IPTC-information of your images. The full version of the new Pixelboxx IPTC Writer is now available for all those interested,  without any limitations. This allows an easy IPTC-indexing and adding of further information. The 2009 edition offers in addition Geotagging, the indexing of folders and different web galleries.

IPTC Writer Highlights

The IPTC Writer allows you to add IPTC Informationen to your JPEG, TIFF and EPS image files. This happens without the need of recoding (what would cause a quality loss). The application is compatible with almost all current operating systems, starting with Win 9X to Win XP, Linux, Unix and Mac OSX. The only thing you need is JAVA 1.4 since the whole program was created with JAVA.

The Pixelboxx IPTC Writer

• is able to read and write IPTC-Information
• supports the formats JPEG, TIFF and EPS 
• adds meta data to JPEG‘s without any quality loss
• shortens working processes by reading the file to label from a folder and afterwards saving it in another one.
• is able to add GPS information to JPEG und TIFF files, either by reading a GPS tracker file automatically or by adding them manually.
• displays images within Google Earth according to their GPS position.
• enables skilled user to edit the IPTC fields individually via its configuration file.
• offers image previews with integrated zoom function
• is independent of other applications and can be used offline.
• is independent of the operating system since it is fully Java based.
