Gartner® has included Pixelboxx in the recent "Digital Asset Management Witnesses a Resurgence to Address Rich Media in Organizations" report.
(W. Andrews / 31 May 2011)
Recently published research by Gartner® puts a spotlight on the growing importance of rich media with enterprises.
This includes a growing significance for Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions for overall enterprise content management scenarios.
The research also points out, that smaller vendors (as opposed to industry heavyweights like Oracle, OpenText or EMC) are more aggressive in the development (anstatt implementation) of features that leverage DAM effects throughout the enterprise.
Especially with the significance of multi-channel marketing execution now challenged by an intense expansion of channels, companies should apply flexibility and agility with their DAM strategies.
Integration with existing frameworks and content management solutions are considered crucial for the selection of a DAM solution as well.
Bigger vendors mostly restrict their DAM integration capabilities to solutions within the vendors own portfolio.
This seems like a perfect match for the Pixelboxx platform strategy, we pursuit since the introduction of our turbine metaphor.
